RENO (AP) - A three-week investigation into drug trafficking in Reno has netted an arrest and the seizure of more than

4 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of more than $180,000.

Police say 44-year-old Jose Perez-Oviedo is being held in the Washoe County Jail in lieu of $285,000 bail on three counts of meth trafficking.

Officers for the Reno, Sparks and UNR campus police teamed up to make the bust Thursday as part of the Regional Street Enforcement Team. They used surveillance to find three different places where the suspect was operating and obtained search warrants to raid all three.
