Paul Dugan, former Washoe County School District superintendent, will serve a second year as chairman of the board of United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.
Other 2011 officers include Curtis McElwee, manager of plant accounting for NV Energy, vice chair; Joan Dees, a community volunteer, treasurer; Ann Campbell, center manager for JCPenney Logistics Center, secretary; and Karen Barsell, chief executive officer and president of United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.
Also elected to the the board were Mary-Ann Andrews, vice president of operation/business development for Sage International, Inc.; Shera Alberti-Annunzio, assistant director of professional development and certificate programs at the University of Nevada, Reno's Extended Studies; Vaughna Bendickson, vice president and Nevada learning and sales development manager at Wells Fargo; Chris Bosse, government relations officer for Renown Health; Nancy Brown, senior manager of community development at Charles Schwab Bank; Mitch Cohen, district manager for U.S. Bank; Larry DeVincenzi, creative marketing consultant at SmartBrand; Bonnie Drinkwater, Esq., owner of Drinkwater Law Offices; Mendy Elliott, a community volunteer; Paula Lee Hobson, executive director, foundation and institutional advancement of Truckee Meadows Community College; Peggy Glick, a community volunteer; Robert B. Grubic, senior vice president and client manager for Bank of America; Heath E. Morrison, superintendent of Washoe County School District; Tina Nappe, a community volunteer; Tom Pfoh, pricing systems leader at GE Energy; and Kris Wells, area manager in external affairs for AT&T.
