Officers responded to at least eight domestic violence calls, with three people arrested.

And after snow fell early Saturday, officers took seven accident reports, including one in which an elderly man ran into a large boulder and light pole in the 1800 block of Highway 50 East.

The 84-year-old man was in cardiac arrest when officers arrived on scene. Deputies adminstered CPR and he was taken from the area by helicopter. His condition and name were not immediately available.
