McCall Realty opens office in Minden

McCall Realty opened a new office in Minden on the first day of the new year.

"We see the glass as half full - with the level rising," said owner Thane McCall. "Our previous experience in Gardnerville and Carson City provides us with a familiarity for the area's customers and their distinct needs."

McCall has been part of the Carson Valley and Tahoe real estate community for more than 30 years, representing family residences, luxury homes, ranches and other distinctive properties in the region.

"McCall's history in the area made our move to his team an easy decision," said mother-daughter agent team Lorilyn Chitwood and Marilyn Vasey.

With more than 30 years of combined sales experience, the two will be among the first to occupy the Minden office. In total, the new agency will have nine agents assisting customers in the community of Minden, increasing the McCall family of agents by nearly 20 percent.

McCall Realty has a reputation for community involvement at all its offices. The company recently provided five children's organizations at South Shore with $20,000 toward specific needs.
