Discount Tires is going to open a store in south Carson City, possibly by August 2011, said Rich Ironside, the assistant vice president of the company's Nevada branch, on Friday.
Ironside said the company will construct a new location near the capital's auto dealers. He did not know how many jobs would be offered at the business.
Discount Tires has a location in south Reno and in Sparks.
