Blain Claypool has been named chief executive officer of Renown South Meadows Medical Center, where he will continue to oversee the Renown South Meadows facility as well as Renown Rehabilitation Hospital, Renown Skilled Nursing, Renown Health Home Care, and Renown Surgical Arts.
Claypool has been vice president and administrator of Renown South Meadows since June of 2009. He previously worked as chief operating officer for University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. He held the same position Valley Hospital in Las Vegas and Auburn Regional Medical Center in Seattle.
