The Caregiver Support Group at St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Carson City will host an informational forum focusing on the many legal issues of caregiving and end of life planning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, in the church rectory at Musser and N. Division streets.
July Wright, from the office of attorney, Lora Myles, CARE Law Program at the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will speak. Often caregivers are suddenly making decisions about things like power of attorney, guardianship, advanced directives and wills, without understanding fully the consequences, or differences in states' policies.
