Sandoval names Orduna as legislative coordinator

(AP) - An assistant court administrator in Washoe County has been named to Nevada Gov. Brian's Sandoval's administration.

Sandoval on Tuesday appointed Joey Orduna as legislative coordinator for the governor's office.

Orduna currently serves as assistant court administrator at Second Judicial District Court. She's also been a division manager at the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.

Sandoval says her experience will ensure his cabinet and state agency heads are integrally involved with the legislative process.
