The driver of a vehicle that went over an embankment Saturday morning east of Dayton left the scene, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
At about 7:15 a.m., NHP was dispatched to the area. An investigation indicates that a yellow Pontiac Aztek bearing Nevada plates MYYLOBE registered to Bryon Boyles of Silver Springs was traveling west on Highway 50 East when the driver lost control and crossed over the yellow center line and drove down an embankment, said NHP Trooper Dan Lopez.
The driver of the Pontiac was picked up by another motorist, and left the scene of the accident.
"On any accident, all parties must stay on scene until emergency personnel arrive," Lopez said.
Witnesses to the event or those with additional information are encouraged to call the Department of Public Safety-Communica-tions Center at 775-687-0400 or Lopez at 775-720-2518.
