LAS VEGAS (AP) - A gambler won nearly $12.8 million in a Megabucks slot machine at CityCenter's Aria.
The woman was playing $6 when the jackpot hit Friday night.
The operator of the Megabucks system, International Game Technology, released a statement quoting the winner, whose name wasn't released.
The winner says she was on her way to her room when she saw the machine and decided to play. She won $12,769,933.
The slot machine is linked to similar slot machines in casinos throughout Nevada, which make up the Megabucks network.
