Health Inspections (published Jan. 26)

The following health inspections are for the period of Jan. 7-14:

• Pho Country restaurant, 2495 N. Carson St., scored 93 points. There is no measurable chlorine sanitizer being dispensed during the final rinse cycle of the dishwasher during active use. Repeat Violation: Found various containers of employee food and drink stored among customer food items in the walk-in. Staff food and drinks shall be stored on the lowest shelf in the walk-in in a designated area (a sign must be posted stating "staff food"). In-use meat grinder is located on the floor below the dishwashing drainboard full of dirty dishes. Pan of ground meat is placed on the dishwashing floor. Found several tubs of thawed, raw meats stored on the floor of the kitchen. None of the sanitizer buckets used for storing wiping cloths have measurable residual chlorine in them.

• Quik Stop Markets, Inc. convenience store, 3006 N. Roop St., scored 100 points.

• Carson City Confections bakery, 318 N. Carson St., #100, scored 100 points.

• ARCO AM/PM convenience store, 1017 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler present at the time of this inspection.

• Pizza Factory of Carson City restaurant, 3120 Highway 50 East #3, scored 100 points.

• Dairy Queen of Carson City restaurant, 3198 Highway 50 East, scored 99 points. There was an "no smoking" sign posted. NRS 202.2483 requires no smoking signs to be posted at the entrance of the business.

• El Aguila Real restaurant, 3220 Highway 50 East #6, scored 97 points. There was no one present during the time of this inspection with a current food handler certification.

• Joanie's Creekside Cafe & Catering restaurant, 1795 E. College Parkway #100, scored 100 points.

• Glen Eagles bar/lounge, 3700 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.
