Obituary: Ernest Vincent Mazy

Ernest Vincent Mazy, 81, of Carson City died June 26, 2011. He was born July 19, 1929, in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife Carol Mazy; children, Blake Mazy of Carson City, Nanette Mazy of Idaho, and Damon Mazy (Kim) of Reno; brother Ray Mazy of Dayton; sisters Barbara Schaarschmidt of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Jeannie Audette of Burbank, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Friday and a memorial mass celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City. Inurnment will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
