Sonja Lynn Joyce, 63, died July 1, 2011, in Carson City. Sonja was born March 19, 1948, in San Mateo, Calif., to Howard and Viola Joyce. She is survived by one sister, Sheila Joyce of Las Vegas. There will be a private service held at a later date. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of final arrangements.
