PandaMania breaking out at vacation Bible school

To start the summer off right by having fun and learning new things at PandaMania Vacation Bible School 6-9 p.m. June 13-17.

Carson City Seventh-day Adventist Church at 405 East College Pkwy, will host the free vacation Bible school for children of all ages. PandaMania includes fun playing games, learning new crafts, enjoying treats and sharing God's love with others.

The King's Brass concert planned

The Carson Valley United Methodist Church will host Tim Zimmerman and The King's Brass in Concert at 7 p.m., June 16.

The church is located at 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville. Admission is free, but an offering is requested in support of the group.

Tim Zimmerman and The King's Brass present hymn classics with a contemporary flair. The group features three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, percussion and keyboards blending together to create a time of innovative worship.

Christian Women's Club to meet in Reno

Sierra Nevada Christian Women's Club presents their June luncheon 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. June 14, Tamarack Junction Banquet Area, 13101 S. Virginia St., Reno. Reservations are due Friday.

Guest speaker is Jo Ann Hoffman, who spent 22 years in the aerospace industry.

Featured presentation is by Kristen from Reno's Lavendar Ridge Gift and Garden shop.

Power of love to be discussed

Discover "The Power of Love in a Changing World" at a worship service at 10 a.m. June 19, at the Carson City Community Center.
