Jeffrey Purtee, a senior rates analyst for NV Energy and a member of three Toastmasters groups in Reno, will participate in the World Championship of Public Speaking in Las Vegas on August.
Purtee, who previously won three northern Nevada speaking competitions, took first place honors in a Toastmasters district competition in Sacramento to advance to the world championship.
