The Brewery Arts Center and ACCtv will launch a new Friday Films Series on Friday.
The family friendly fun begins with a five-week series of short films for children. All showings are at 6:30 p.m. in the Performance Hall. The Brewery is located at 449 W. King St.
With admission free, the film series is an affordable way for families to spend time together this summer. Refreshment are available for purchase in the lobby prior to the show.
The lineup of film nights is:
Friday - Best of the Fest: Half of Chicago Children's Film Festival Best of the Fest, plus two short films created at the ACCtv Studios.
June 24 - Rest of the Best of the Fest: The other half of the Chicago Children's Film Festival Best of the Fest, plus two short films created at ACCtv studios.
July 1 - Bunch of Fives: Five funny animated films comment ruefully on our relationship with the natural world.
July 8 - Show Peace Series of six films: The non verbal animated series explores conflict resolution. The films were produced by The National Film Board of Canada.
July 15 - Green Animation: Eleven funny shorts on the environment, produced by the World Wide Fund for Nature/UK.
