Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• William John Farrell, 49, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of Poole Way on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

• A 31-year-old rental cleaner from Gardnerville was arrested at 11:33 p.m. Wednesday at Saliman Road and Fifth Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs and failure to maintain a single lane. A passerby allegedly saw the woman swerving and called police. Bail was set at $1,239.

• A 44-year-old transient laborer was arrested at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor being a drunken pedestrian. He was allegedly yelling at people. Bail was set at $67.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a dispute between a panhandler and another person the 3200 block of Market Street at 5:26 a.m. The panhandler allegedly pulled a knife on the other person.

• A gold 1997 BMW 528I, four-door sedan, with Nevada license plate 414SUN, and front end damage to the front bumper, was reported missing from the 200 block of Albany Avenue at 7:52 a.m. The owner said he'd left the keys in the car.

• Accident at 11 a.m. at North Stewart and Robinson streets.

• Report of a large, loud party in the 2200 block of Long Street at 10:14 p.m. Juveniles were cited.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Misdemeanor arrests on Jessica Lane in Fernley at 3:57 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Hardie Lane in Fernley at 6:14 p.m.

• A vehicle was burglarized and a pistol stolen sometime overnight from Topaz Street.

• Coroner call on Dayton Street in Mason Valley at 8:59 a.m.

• A woman in Mound House reported at 10:48 a.m. that someone entered her home while she was sleeping, took her friend's car keys and left. The woman said she was keeping the car for her friend who is in the Carson City Jail.

• Report of a residential burglary and money missing from a Willow Way home in Fernley at 6:15 p.m.

• Report of intoxicated juveniles on Palmer Court on the Dayton Valley Golf Course at 8:06 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 10:02 p.m. of people being loud and playing basketball on the court at F and Washington streets.
