Pacific Rim Exploration Ltd. of Reno has optioned a 65 percent joint venture interest in a Washoe County mining property from ICN Resources Ltd. and Washoe Gold Inc.
The company can earn the 65 percent interest in the Hog Ranch Property about 110 miles north of Reno through the expenditure of $8 million on exploration in the next five years.
About 200,000 ounces of gold were produced at Hog Ranch from a small heap leach mine operated by Western Goldfields and Western Mining in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
