Anyone thinking about buying a greenhouse or hoop house, is invited to the workshop "Four-Season Gardening: Hoop House, High Tunnel or Greenhouse" 10 a.m.-noon today at Hungry Mother Organics Nursery.
The nursery is located at 3190 Hwy 395, in north Minden, 2 miles south of Carson City.
The workshop will address the difference between various cold-weather protections and which one would work best for your situation. The pros and cons of each will be discussed to help you make the best decision based on finances, space, and vegetable growing aspirations.
