Patrick H. Odle, 48, of Carson City, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the home of his sister in Carbondale, Ill.
Patrick was born April 2, 1962, in Belleville, Ill., to Arnold and Kathleen Odle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and three brothers, Joe, Tom and Brian.
Surviving are his sisters Karen (Dock) Williams of Nevada, Linda Odle of Illinois, and Kathleen (Lee) Gardiner of Nevada; brothers Bill (Kathy) Odle of Missouri, Pete (Debbie) Odle of Nevada, Tim (Janet) Odle of Nevada; nephews Shane, Jacob, Joe, Robert and Brian; nieces Heather, Arden, Amanda; great-nephew Jackson and great-nieces Tiernan, Elleanor, and Miranda. Patrick was a games dealer and supervisor for many casinos in Nevada, Illinois, and Mississippi. Upon legalization of gaming in other states, Patrick traveled the country as a gaming school instructor, teaching many dealers his profession with pride and commitment.
Patrick proudly loved his friends and family. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his brothers and friends "messing about with cars." Pat did not judge others, and loved unconditionally. In memory of Patrick, love your family, embrace your friends, live life with a smile, and take a nice car ride.
A private celebration of Patrick's' life will be held on his birthday, Saturday, April, 2, 2011, at the home of his best friend Doug.
