Information sought on South Tahoe robbery

On Saturday, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the South Lake Tahoe Police department responded to a call of a strong arm robbery that had occurred at Lake Tahoe Souvenir's, located at 3477 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

The clerk, Keshia Molina of South Lake Tahoe, reported that a male walked into the store, pushed her against a cabinet, and took money from the register.

The suspect then left in a white SUV. There was an accomplice driver who was waiting in the parking lot. The suspect was described as a white male adult, between the ages of 40-50, approximately 6 feet tall, average build wearing a dark grey zip up hoodie sweatshirt, a black beanie cap and was unshaven. This suspect had come into the store earlier in the day asking for change.

Surveillance footage was not immediately available at the time of this release, but will be obtained soon.
