Reno contractor Len Savage has been named to the Nevada Department of Transportation Board.
"Len's long experience with state contracting issues and his solid community connections will provide valuable insight," said Gov. Brian Sandoval.
Savage is president of Savage and Son, one of the state's oldest plumbing businesses.
The transportation board of directors oversees operations of NDOT. Headed by the governor, it also includes the lieutenant governor and attorney general as well as business representatives.
