Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Javier Merlin, 37, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of felony use of false identification to avoid prosecution, misdemeanor drunken driving, driving on a suspended license, driving with fictitious registration, no proof of insurance, failure to wear a seat belt, use of private property to avoid traffic signal and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $20,000.
• Thomas W. Sollinger, 52, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Imperial Drive on suspicion of felony battery causing substantial bodily harm, preventing a witness from reporting a crime, gross misdemeanor child endangerment and misdemeanor resisting arrest. Bail was set at $7,500.
• Ryan Musto, 22, of Albany, Ore., was arrested at 2:12 p.m. Saturday at Fourth and Carson streets on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possessions of hypodermic needle, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $20,000. Also arrested was Samantha Jean Nelson, 19, of Albany, Ore., on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $2,500.
• Anthony Douglas Gilliland, 24, a firewood salesman from Dobbins, Calif., was arrested on a Yuba County Superior Court warrant for felony robbery. Bail was set at $20,000.
• Alfredo Santillian, 42, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 10:21 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Goni Road on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution. Bail was set at $7,500,
• Benjamin Paul Bargas, 35, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 5:35 a.m. Monday at Foothill Road and Winnie Lane on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana and two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500.
• Terri Lynn Zittel, 39, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. Sunday at Raley's on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen credit card and petty larceny. Bail was set at $25,000.
Storey County
Deputies responded to the following calls:
• Report of a home "egged" on Lousetown Road at 12:59 a.m. Saturday.
• Report of wild horses on Geiger Grade at 2:21 p.m. Saturday.
• Arrest at Sutton and Howard streets at 10:01 p.m. Saturday.
