Kenzie Cole

Year: Senior

School: Dayton High

Sport: Softball

Q: What is your favorite sport, and how did you get started playing it?

A: My favorite sport is softball. I started playing T-ball when I was 5 and just kept moving up from there.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

A: Even though my favorite team is the Boston Red Sox and I absolutely hate the Yankees, I'm going to have to say that Derek Jeter is my favorite. He is a class act and plays his heart out. I've never heard anything bad about him.

Q: What was your most thrilling moment in sports?

A: Last year in softball against Yerington. We won 1-0 and I pitched all 15 innings.

Q: Do you have a role model, and why is he/she your role model?

A: My cousin Tim Suprka because he is amazing at baseball (could have gone pro), but you would never know, because of how humble he is.

Q: What sport have you always wanted to try, but never have and why not?

A: Cliff diving. It would be the ultimate rush, but I haven't because I'm scared of heights.

Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so what are they?

A: I like to snowboard, play golf and take pictures.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Minestrone soup, cheese ravioli and breadsticks from Olive Garden. Yum!

Q: What is the last non-academic book you read?

A: There are non-academic books? Really?

Q: Who is your favorite musician or group?

A: I honestly listen to everything.

Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what will you major in?

A: I plan to attend Boise State in the fall. I've been accepted there on an academic/athletic scholarship and I plan to major in sports management.

Q: Do you have a favorite TV show(s)?

A: Grey's Anatomy, and I'm not going to lie, Glee.

Q: Tell us something about yourself that would surprise most of your friends.

A: I raced a go-kart, the brakes failed and I almost decapitated myself. True story.
