James S. Voorhees of Reno has been named to the board of Cloud Peak Energy Inc., a Gillette, Wyo., company that's the third-largest U.S. coal producer. Voorhees is retired chief operating officer of Glamis Gold Ltd.
Cloud Peak Energy also said that Kevin McArthur of Reno, president and chief executive of Tahoe Resources Inc., will not stand for re-election to the board.
