Howard "Chip" Rattigan has been named executive director of Saint Mary's Medical Group, a division of Saint Mary's that includes 14 primary-care physicians and 21 mid-level providers at six locations in Reno and Sparks.
Rattigan, who worked in healthcare administration for more than 30 years, previously worked as administrator of Cardiovascular Surgery Associates in Las Vegas.
He also has owned and operated a fully integrated healthcare delivery system including 500 physicians in multi-site, multi-specialty groups.
Rattigan earned a master's degree in healthcare administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. and a bachelor's degree from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, W. Va.
