An illegal immigrant remained in custody Monday, suspected of fondling a young girl.
Rosendo Plancarte-Perez, 30, was booked into the Carson City Jail on suspicion of felony lewdness with a child under 14.
According to the arrest report, the victim's 19-year-old brother called police Friday after he allegedly saw Plancarte-Perez go into the girl's room and shut the door. When the stepfather exited a few minutes later, the brother asked his younger sister what happened, the report states.
"She responded that (Plancarte-Perez) had touched her private parts," the report states.
An officer interviewed the girl and she said he'd been doing that for some time. She said he never touched her underneath her clothes or try to kiss her, but he'd often rub on her genitals through her clothes.
Plancarte-Perez told officers he was in the country illegally after being recently deported, according to the report.
He was booked into the Carson City Jail at 10:39 p.m.
He is being held without bail on an immigration hold.
