Obituary: Russell Wayne Mead

Russell Wayne Mead, 82, of Carson City died May 17, 2011. He was born Nov. 9, 1928, in Ryder, N.D., to Leland and Esther Mead. He is preceded in death by his wife Karen Mead; sister, Blanche Goit; brother, Richard A. Mead; and infant daughter, Lisa Mead. He is survived by his son, Dean Russell Mead (Lori); brother Robert L. Mead (Ruth); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
