Bob LaRiviere will become president of CFA Inc. of Reno at the start of 2012.
He will succeed Brita Tryggvi, who will leave the planning, engineering and surveying firm at the end of the year. She's been president of CFA for 11 years and has worked for the firm for 21 years.
LaRiviere has been a partner in CFA since he joined the firm in 1998.
He is a graduate of Paul Smith's College in New York with a degree in surveying and forestry and has worked more than 30 years as a surveyor.
