Our quiet, gentle Dan Rogers left us suddenly May 22, 2011, at the age of 68. Dan was a native of Santa Rosa, Calif. He and his wife Janet sold their business and moved to Minden in 2000 where Dan started working for All American Tire. He became involved with the V&T Railroad to fulfill his passion for trains. Dan also loved old cars and built one from parts found in the desert. He also loved to fish and enjoyed being out with nature. He is survived by his beloved wife Janet of 47 years; sons David, Mark and daughter Lisa; brother Bill; brothers-in-law Denny, Tom and Steve; grandchildren Robert, Sammy, Daniel and Cash; plus many friends. Dan will be missed by all who knew him.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of final arrangements.
