Obituary: Helen Mae Smith

Helen Mae Smith, 80, of Carson City died May 13, 2011. She was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Hannibal, Mo., to Charles E. and Hazel A. (Calloway) Winegar. She is survived by her husband Richard Smith; children Ron Smith of Scottsdale, Ariz., Debbie Smith of Loveland, Colo., Gary Smith of Laveen, Ariz., and Marlene Johnson of Redwood City, Calif.; brother Bill Winegar of Grand Rapids, Mich., sister Carlyn Dumas of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Viewing will be 2-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Autumn Funerals followed by a funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m.. Burial will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
