Gardening with native plants can help bees, provide habitat for wildlife, and create a garden that flourishes. Ed Kleiner of Comstock Seed will talk about the ecological importance of planting native drought tolerant species and best practices for establishing a native plant garden. The workshop also addresses companion planting to attract birds, bees, and butterflies and to control undesirable pests.

What's the difference and which works best for what situation? This workshop will talk about the pros and cons of each and help you make the best decision for your available finances, space, and vegetable growing aspirations.
