Obituary: Lewis "Ted" Sommers

Lewis "Ted" Sommers, 69, of Eustis, Fla., a former resident of Dayton, died May 24, 2011. He was born Dec. 30, 1941. He served in the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict.

He is the former owner of Old Fogy's Club. He had a deep passion for Native American Lore and believed he would soar like an eagle till he came before the Great Chief in the sky. He fought a valiant battle with cancer.

Survivors include his wife, Lenora Lee, of Eustis, Fla.; daughter Loreen Prado, of Ojai, Calif.; son Herbert, of Ventura, Calif.; sisters Charlene Cole, Encampment, Wyo., and Ida Kejonen, Mt. Dora, Fla.; nieces Lori and Sandy; nephews Brett, Mike, Bobby and Ricky; and grandsons Jay and Timothy Prado.
