Obituary: Frank Joseph Sardella

In loving memory of Frank Joseph Sardella, Sr., who passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2011. Frank was born in Wakefield, Mass on December 25, 1933.

Frank and his family moved to Tahoe City in 1974 where they lived for 22 years and he ran his business most know him from - Frank Sardella Cleaning Service with his wife Joan and his 5 children. Upon retirement Frank moved to Reno, NV where he lived for the past 15 years.

Frank was recognized most by his growly deep voice and the marine hair cut he wore till the end. Rest in peace Frank, you're with your son John Stephen Sardella, sister Grace DiCillo and our Heavenly Father.

Frank leaves behind his wife, Joan Sardella of 54 years of marriage, four children - Jodi Brokaw of Corona, CA, husband Jerry and daughter Jacquelyn, Barbara Butterfield of Loyalton, CA, husband David and daughter Kathryn, Linda Thomas of Simpsonville, S.C., husband Rod, sons Derrick and Stewart and Frank Joseph Sardella Jr. of Poway, CA and son Cody. Frank also leaves behind his many other family members and friends from the east coast to the west.

The Sardella family would like to thank all the wonderful people who made Franks remaining time comfortable and peaceful. Frank was a wonderful husband, Dad, Grandpa and Gumba (compare) who will be dearly missed.

There will be no services held at this time but a memorial service for family and friends come Summer of 2012 will be held in order for family members and friends from afar to all be together.
