Earl, 76, who lived in the Reno/Carson City area for two decades in the '70s and '80s, passed away November 13, 2011 in Seattle, after a four-year battle with Alzheimer's and Lewy Body dementia. Earl was a beloved dad, grandpa and friend, and in the end, he left this world peacefully, surrounded by family. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also was skilled at trap and skeet shooting (and shooting the bull). Earl was a salesman and a single dad, raising his kids (Jeff, Lauri, Amy and Heather) for a number of years in Carson City. He was quite the character and is dearly missed.
