Silver Dollars & Wooden Nickels: Silver to pair who used knowledge of Silver State

The Nevada Appeal's "Silver Dollar" and "Wooden Nickel" feature recognizes positive achievements from the capital region and, when warranted, points out others that missed the mark.

SILVER DOLLAR: To Trevor Oxborrow and his mom Jill Oxborrow, who used their knowledge of the area to find the Nevada Day Treasure Hunt Medallion after just five clues on Friday.

Trevor found the clue off the Faye Luther Trail and won the $1,000 prize.
