Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Ronald James Taylor, 40, of Carson City, was arrested at 3:14 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of North Edmonds Drive on three felony sexual abuse charges out of Iowa. According to the criminal complaint from Buena Vista County, Iowa, Taylor allegedly molested an 8-year-old girl between August 2008 and May 2010 at his home, at her home and in his vehicle. Bail was set at $150,000.

• Thalia Dean, 19, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:16 p.m. on suspicion of felony possession of heroin, misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of suspended sentence. Bail was set at $2,500.

• James Robert Donovan, 30, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 3 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of felony probation violation out of El Dorado County. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• 10:57 a.m. - Report of a student hitting and head-butting a teacher at Carson Middle School.

• 11:17 a.m. - Rollover on Flint Road. Minor injury.

• 2:18 p.m. - Accident at Marian Avenue and Slide Mountain Drive.

• 11:33 a.m. - Report of shots fired in the area of 1700 Brown Street. Witnesses reported seeing fireworks.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• 11:06 a.m. - Caller reported seeing someone break a window and attempt to get inside a building in the 300 block of Soaring Way in Fernley.

• 1:18 p.m. - Report of female student at Silver Stage Middle School who got into a fight earlier, now screaming at the principal.

• 1:47 p.m. - Vehicle burglary report in the 400 block of Valley Circle in Dayton.

• 3:38 p.m. - Fernley parents requested that a deputy take a report after their 17-year-old son hit their 13-year-old daughter.

• 7:53 p.m. - Report of a man at Highway 50 Alternate and Cottonwood Drive bragging he had felony warrants and "can't be caught." A felony arrest was made.
