John O. Swendseid, who heads the Reno office of the law firm of Swendseid & Stern, has been appointed chair of the American Bar Association section of taxation's committee on tax-exempt financing.
He will serve a two-year term as chair of the committee, which has 150 members. Swendseid previously served as its vice chair.
