Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

• Nathaniel Andrew Bailey, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation, sex-offender failure to register, misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor, two counts of probation violation. No bail was set.

• A 44-year-old laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Winnie Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.

• A 23-year-old attendant from Carson City was arrested at 3:01 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of North Curry Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• 2:24 a.m. - Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane.

• 3:50 a.m. - Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue. Nick Wayne Baumgartner, 62, of Carson City, died in the prison infirmary of liver cancer. Baumgartner was sentenced to 24-60 months in prison in May on a charge of felony driving under the influence after a previous felony conviction. At the time of sentencing, Baumgartner told the court he "fell off the wagon," after learning he had terminal cancer with just two years left to live.

• 8:03 a.m. - Report of a window broken and a stereo stolen from the 1300 block of Green Court.

• 8:24 a.m. - Coroner call in the 200 block of West Long Street.

• 8:56 a.m. - Report of a juvenile at Silver State Charter High School causing problems. Misdemeanor arrest made.

• 12:01 p.m. - Man reported someone known to him yelled at him and choked him on East Fifth Street.

• 1:59 p.m. - Accident at East Robinson Street and Saliman Road.

• 5:38 p.m. - Report of a safe containing $13,000 and a Glock stolen from the 3200 block of Imperial Way.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• 10:28 a.m. - Report of a ring missing from Crabapple Lane.

• Noon - Doctor's office in Dayton reported narcotics stolen.

• 3:13 p.m. - Report of a drunk neighbor pounding on a door on Angel Street in Silver Springs.

• 5:57 p.m. - Misdemeanor arrest on Pete Hendrichs Road in Mason Valley.
