Steven C. Herrmann, M.D., and James Lee, M.D, have joined Saint Mary's Medical Group.
Herrmann who will serve as cardiology medical director. He previously worked for the Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. as director of cardiac care and Bradford Regional Medical Center in Bradford, Pa.
Hermann also remains on the faculty at Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an adjunct assistant professor of Physiology and Pharmacology.
He is a graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and earned a doctorate in cardiac physiology and biophysics from the University of Washington.
Lee joined the medical group as an interventional cardiologist.
He is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine as a resident. He completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, and later at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco.
Herrmann and Lee are the first specialists to join the 14 primary-care physicians in Saint Mary's Medical Group.
