Three of the most popular performers around the area will take turns "Rockin' The Square" from 3-11 p.m. Saturday.

Jelly Bread, GrooveSession and Whitney Myer Band are all slated for the free outdoor concert on Curry Street between Proctor and Telegraph streets.

It'll be a Saturday of good food, drinks, dancing and rockin.

Reno-based Jelly Bread mixes roots, rock, reggae, gospel, blues and funk into a seamless fusion that's steeped in roots, wallows in funk and marinated in soul.

The Whitney Myer Band, also Reno-based, fuses funk, soul and pop, and some R&B for its own special family blend of rock.

GrooveSession is based in Ontario, Calif., but has a strong following in the Carson-Reno area. The band's sound is a positive, multi-genre, groovin' blend of rock 'n' roll.

Three bands, three unique sounds coming together for a rockin' night in Downtown Carson City.

And when you need a refueling break between dancing sessions, there will be food and drinks to satisfy. The concert is co-hosted by Carson Cigar Company, Plan:b Micro-Lounge, High Sierra Brewing Company, and Sassafras. For information, call 775-884-4402.
