Reg Chhen Stewart has been named director of diversity initiatives at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Stewart, who has headed UNR's Center for Student Cultural Diversity since 2003, also will continue in that role.
He earned doctoral and master's degrees in educational leadership at UNR, and a master's degree in counseling education and bachelor's degree in sociology from San Francisco State University.
