Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail over the weekend. All are innocent until proved guilty.
• Ashley Ore-Larson, Brenda Ashland, both 18, and Robert Andrew Blackmore, 20, all of Carson City, were arrested about 8 p.m. Saturday on charges related to the alleged possession of about $100 worth of heroin. All three face a felony charge of conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act and a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia. Ore-Larson and Ashland face a charge of felony possession of heroin, and Ashland also faces a misdemeanor careless-driving charge. Blackmore also faces a gross misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription.
Deputies with the Special Enforcement Team received a tip from a confidential informant that an SUV, later reportedly driven by Ore-Larson, was on its way back from Reno after a heroin buy. The deputies reportedly followed the SUV as it stopped at the north Wal-Mart's parking lot and watched Ashland and Blackmore exit and get into a sedan.
The deputies pulled over Ore-Larson and told her they knew about the narcotics transaction. She then reportedly said that Ashland and Blackmore had asked her for a ride to Reno to buy $100 worth of heroin, netting them 15 of the balloons used to store it. She reportedly told officers that the three had smoked three of the balloons and she hid the rest of them in her body when she saw the police emergency lights. The deputies reported finding paraphernalia in the vehicle also.
Ashland reportedly told deputies that she had a straw and "a lot" of used tinfoil that had been used to smoke heroin. Deputies also reportedly found wax paper with chunks of heroin in her purse. They also reportedly found a small tin with a pink pill that Blackmore identified as Xanax. Though he denied it belonged to him, deputies charged him with possession due to his proximity to it in the car, according to the arrest report.
Ore-Larson's and Blackmore's bail was $18,500 each. Ashland's bail was $17,500.
• Lillian Takako Allen, 53, of Carson City, was arrested at about 4:15 p.m. Friday near the Goodwill thrift store and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and disorderly conduct.
A deputy with the Special Enforcement Team was flagged down by a resident who reported that a woman had chased her teenage brother with a sledgehammer and that the woman was running up and down the street with the hammer and yelling at people.
The deputy found the woman, later identified as Allen, making the "quick, jerky-type movements" usually associated with meth use, according to the arrest report. The resident identified Allen as the woman with the sledgehammer. During a search of woman's bag, a small amount of meth and a medium-sized sledgehammer was found, according to the arrest report.
