Obituary: Richard DePuy

Richard DePuy passed away at his home on April 17, 2012. He was born April 8, 1938. Richard is survived by his wife Heidi (they met scuba diving in Monterey) as well as by three children; Deborah, Brian, and Jeffrey, and eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He belonged to Cowboy Action Shooting, Roadrunners, NARFE, Wandering Wheels, and Kelp Divers. He was an avid underwater photographer and visited many South Pacific Islands. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor.

Richard worked for the FAA for thirty three years as a systems analyst.

The family has requested contributions in his honor to either the Diver's Alert Network (P.O. Box 38223 Durham, Norch Carolina 27710) or to the Shepherd of the Sierra Lutheran Church (3680 Hwy 395 S, Carson City, NV 89705).

A celebration of his life will be held at the Shepherd of the Sierra Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 21st at 1:00pm.
