The economic development plan adopted by the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe last year has won national recognition.
The plan won an honorable mention in the 2012 Donald E. Hunter Excellence in Economic Development Planning Awards sponsored by the economic development division of the American Planning Association.
The plan was written by Tribal Planner Scott Carey.
