Bruce Tomlinson has been named vice president and chief executive officer of PDL BioPharma Inc. of Incline Village.
Tomlinson, most recently chief accounting officer, vice president of finance and corporate controller of InterMune Inc., will take the PDL post effective June 11. He also has held positions with Bunge SA and Deloitte and Touche.
He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from UCLA.
