Obituary: Linda Ann Fields

Linda was born and raised in Ridgecrest, CA. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Fields, on November 6, 1971, and was mother of three sons. She graduated on the honor roll from Burroughs High School, class of 1970. She also graduated from WNCC, class of 2005 with an AA degree in computer and office technology. Linda was also licensed as both a cosmetologist and real estate agent in the State of California. For six years she worked alongside kids with ADD in both Nevada and California schools. She was commissioner of AYSO Region 150 from 1991-1994. In 1990, she achieved the Award of Merit, which is the highest award a non-scout member can receive. She was employed by Topaz Lodge & Casino for 12 years as a bookkeeper. She also was the co-owner and operator of Topaz Landing for 21 years. She was a member and supporter of the Relay for Life in Gardnerville for six years.

Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles Fields; her three sons, Christopher, Justin and Benjamin and their families; mother, Regina Moory; brother, William Watson, half-sister, Cindy Schroeder; step-brother, Randall Moory; her Uncle Dan and Aunt Ann Watson and in-laws, Clarence and Lucille Fields.
