VizKinect, a Reno-based market research company, said last week it's struck deals with movie producer David Zito and game development company 3G Studios.
Zito will use VizKinect's technology, which measures how consumers see and react to visual media, to develop effective product placements for his film, "The Boogaloo Kid."
3G Studios, which is headquartered in Reno, will use the VizKinect technology to learn more about how specific demographic groups react to its video games and its in-game advertising.
