Midway Gold Corp. of Denver said last week it hired Jacobs Engineering Group to oversee engineering of the infrastructure at its Pan Gold Project in White Pine county.
Jacobs will oversee engineering of buildings, roads and electrical and water supply at the project.
SRK Consulting completed engineering of heap leach pads and ponds at the property.
Midway has said the mine would employ 145, and it's scheduled to come on line in 2014. The company plans to invest $99 million to bring it into production.
The Pan Project is 22 miles southeast of Eureka and 50 miles west of Ely.
