Lawrie Lieberman of Incline Village, former dean of admissions at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, has been named the 2013 chairman of the Desert Research Institute Research Foundation.

Other northern Nevadans who serve as officers of the foundation include Stephanie Tyler, president of AT&T Nevada in Reno, co-vice chair and treasurer; Leonard Lafrance of EPI in Incline Village, secretary; and Dan Barnett of Incline Village, chief operating officer of Vistage International, past chair.

The foundation's new trustees from northern Nevada include: Soraya Aguirre, a partner in the law firm of Holland and Hart; Mark Bruce, the principal attorney in the Bruce Law Group of Reno; Keith Burrowes, founder of Sierra Integrated Systems; Gary Kvistad of Incline Village, a shareholder in the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck; Holger Liepmann, an Executive Vice President of Nutritional Products at Abbott Laboratories; and Robb Smith, co-founder of Chrysallis.
